This willbe a concert in which contemporary music unfolds in dialogue with the acoustics, ritual, and history of the cathedral. The music moves between the intimate and the monumental, between silence, metallic strikes, breathing organ sounds, and the vibrant textures of the ensemble.
With soloists Fukuhara Sawako, Nils Henrik Asheim, Vegar Olav Sandholt, and Mirsaeed Hosseiny Panah, Insimul opens up new sounds, new connections, and an attentive listening experience of Stavanger Cathedral.
The concert is part of nyMusikk Stavanger’s 50th anniversary celebrations and is presented in collaboration between Insimul and nyMusikk Stavanger.
